Y does my 95 honda civic ex 1.5 vtec auto transmission lack speed?

on the launch my car takes forever to move, it feels slow and gotta step on it real deep... i do my engine tune ups every 3000 and everything is fine. jus my friend drove it and noticed it lacks speed and moves slow and i noticed, um i wonder what it is and body got ideas so i kan check it out..,,, tranny, fuel filter, fuel injectors,,, etc
