Mother sentenced to 5 years probation, special parenting classes, 50$ fine, for spanking?

That is what is wrong with our children today! Our parents spanked us and we are just fine all kids are different i don't feel a simple spanking will hurt a child the kids know nobody can spank them the timeouts don't always work then they are screaming throwing things what are parents to do children need discipline rules and structure in there life a simple spanking not a beating there is a difference! Every child is different every day is different fit the punishment with the crime! You can't tell a 2 yr old a story sometimes they need a pop to get there attention so they know right from wrong some kids u can talk to some you can do timeouts with but some need some good ole fashion discipline!
