Help me find film PLEASE?

ok.. i saw film one time on the tv, around 2005/2006 maybe b4 {would have been on irish/uk tv} can't be sure exactly, its about this young american girl between 16/19, who take drugs, i think heroin/crack cocaine, not ina serious way but at least at the beginning just smoking it {Not injecting it, i think} ANWAY the obvious clue is that she falls for a young similar age mexican teen {Good boy, in collage and that} around the same age, they begin to start a relationship.. she is from a fairly rich backround and is somewhat a lone ranger {dethacted from her family} she is carefree and he more cautious to everything she gets him up to, even when she brings him back to her house to have sex her room has no walls on at least two sides {windows} and its no problim to her to get it off, at the time ther's a maid or sometin in the house while her da works, i think her ma might have passed way in the film, i thaught tha erika christensen had played a part in the film but i think im completly wrong.. sorry if ya no idea what im talking about, this done my head in for yearsss... thanks for any clues, i swear the image of this girl/boy is in my head, if i saw a picture of the actor/actress id recognaise them striahgt away
