What Kind of snake is this and kan I feed it pinkys(have pic)?

It is a garter snake. You can try to feed it pinkies, but it probably won't take them. They normally eat fish and frogs, as well as the occasional worm. To get it to take pinkies, you may need to scent the pinky by rubbing fish slime on it.
